2. Information we collect
We use data collection devices such as “cookies” on certain pages of our Website. Cookies are small files saved to your hard drive that allow us to recognize your computer in order to provide customized service to you. Certain customized features of our Website are only available if you allow cookies. Cookies can help us provide information which is targeted to your interests. We use this information to determine our members’ demographics and interests to better understand and serve you. If you choose to access our Websites through a mobile device, on a mobile version of the Website, or in an application-based version of the Website, we may collect additional information about you, such as location data.
Under some circumstances we may require certain additional information, including but not limited to your credit card billing information. We may use financial information or payment method to process payment for any purchases made on our Website, enroll you in the discount, rebate, and other programs in which you elect to participate, to protect against or identify possible fraudulent transactions, and otherwise as needed to manage our business.
We may use third party advertising companies to serve Internet ads for us. Such companies may collect anonymous information about your visits to our Websites through use of a Web beacon, cookie, or an action tag placed on Websites or HTML emails, allowing collection of anonymized information. There may also be services offered by external service providers that help you use our Website, such as Adobe Flash. If you use these optional services, and in the course of doing so, disclose information to the service providers, or grant them permission to collect information about you, then their use of your information is governed by their privacy policies.
If you visit the Website, a third-party advertiser may place or recognize a unique cookie on your browser. These cookies enable more customized ads, content or services to be provided to you. No personally identifiable information is on, or is connected to, these cookies. To opt-out of these cookies, please go to www.privacychoice.org/companies or www.aboutads.info/choices.
